I guess you could say that I'm a man of many hats, but first and foremost I'm a renovator and DIY enthusiast I have a unique connection with my audience that stems from my personal journey from professional football player to licensed renovator and television host. I thrive on inspiring people to take pride in themselves, their homes, communities, and family.
PRO FOOTBALL PLAYER
My professional career didn’t start on TV. Before that I was a Boy Scout and Alter Boy turned All-Canadian university football standout. I graduated with a degree in psychology and was drafted in 2005 by the BC Lions. Under the leadership of legendary coach Wally Buono, I was able to help propel the BC Lions to a Grey Cup championship in 2006, solidifying Wally’s place as the winningest coach in CFL history.
After the sun set on my athletic career, I looked to my next area of expertise, home renovation. Having started my apprenticeship at age 14, I quickly picked up my tools, brushed up on the latest renovation technology, got licensed, and began work.
Now the principal owner of Clovis & Co.Contracting, I believe everyone should strive to understand the mechanics of their home, tackle improvement projects, and understand when its necessary to call in a professional.

TV HOST AND PUBLIC SPEAKER
My TV career began with my first show, Tackle My Reno, and I suppose since then I've become somewhat of a common face in the television world. I now host HGTV’s Save My Reno and I'm one of the many faces on the hit show Home to Win. As a resident home renovation and DIY expert on The Marilyn Denis Show, I like to think my charismatic smile and trusty tool belt help me energize, engage and inform the audience.
